District 14-D Lions, Lionesses and LEOs are pleased to invite all Pennsylvania Lions,
Lionesses and their guests to the 92nd annual State Lions Convention to be held in
Lancaster and Lebanon counties from May 14 to May 17, 2015. The convention hotel will be
the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center, located near the heart of Pennsylvania
Dutch Country and in the middle of the shopping outlets.

Come out and meet and greet our International President, Joe Preston, and his wife
Lion Joni. IP Joe Preston will be our speaker at the International Banquet on Saturday
evening.

We also have Anne Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne's
Pretzels, coming as a motivational speaker. Anne's vision to
serve, inspire and give has been recognized many times. In
2005, Anne sold Auntie Anne's to develop a community center
in Lancaster County. Today, she travels the world speaking and inspiring audiences
everywhere. Her program will be one you will not want to miss while attending the
                                                      convention.

Meet Lion Jay Blake, NHRA Race Car Owner and Chief Mechanic, blind since a
work related accident in 1997. His car will be in the convention exhibit area where he will
greet convention attendees. He will present a talk on Saturday and plans to talk with LEOs
                                                     during the convention.

Among the convention activities that your Convention Committee has planned are
informational seminars, great speakers, performance by the Pennsylvania All-State Band,  good hospitality, golf,
Lioness/Ladies Breakfast, PA Lions Luncheon and the business of the State Council and the general business sessions.

For those of you who are intrigued by the Amish, we have arranged on Thursday evening a Pennsylvania Dutch all-you-can-eat family style dinner and theater performance at the Amish Experience. The first 200 convention attendees who register for the Amish Experience will receive a special Quilt Pin. This pin is not for sale, and only those registered fir the Amish Experience will receive one.

For those of you who like to collect Lions pins, in addition to the Whoopee Pie pins we have offered over the last few
years, we are now offering a two-horse Amish buggy pin. It will be available at the upcoming Council Meetings until
sold out. There will also be a Pennsylvania Dutch Welcome Pin available when you send in your registration for the
convention.

For those of you who like to play golf, the Host Hotel has a golf course. While we are not holding a tournament, we
have arranged for anyone registered for the convention to play the course at a reduced rate of $40 per person, including
green fees and 1/2 cart.

In addition to a large settlement of Amish and Pennsylvania Dutch, Lancaster County is noted for its shopping outlets
(Rockvale & Tanger Millstream), fine food, the American Music Theater and much more. And for families with children, Dutch Wonderland is located just across Route 30 from the hotel.

The host committee is committed to having the best-attended convention in the last few years and to assuring that all who
attend will have an outstanding experience while in District 14-D. We invite all to come early, stay late and enjoy
yourselves in "Amish Country".
