The theme of this year’s convention was “Bring Back the Fun” as clowns and smiling and laughing Lion members enjoyed a weekend not only of fun but also of business and learning. Convention delegates attended workshops, Council and Business meetings, listened to Guest Speakers, enjoyed the fellowship of fellow Lions at Breakfasts and Lunches, elected new officers, voted on constitutional amendments to set the future direction for Lions Clubs in the State of Pennsylvania and remembered those Lions that passed away in the past year at a Necrology service. One of the highlights of the convention was meeting and sharing ideas with Lions Clubs International President, Sid L. Scruggs III, who was with the Lions of Pennsylvania the entire Weekend. The convention ended with the “Honors Banquet” where the Outgoing and the In Coming District Governors were recognized for their “Service” and commitment to Lionism.
