Each year, District 14-D holds “Passing of the Banner”. At this event the Immediate Past District Governor’s club (Manor Ridge Lions Club) “Passes” the District Banner to the new District Governor’s Club (Ephrata Lions Club). This signifies the “Passing of the Torch” from one District Governor to another. This Banner is then displayed at all clubs’ meetings to represent the current governor when he or she cannot be at a meeting due to his/her responsibilities.
