Passing the Banner

Each year, District 14-D holds “Passing of the Banner”.  At this event the Immediate Past District Governor’s club (Mountville Lions Club) “Passes” a District Banner to the new District Governor’s Club (Manor Ridge Lions Club). This signifies the “Passing of the Torch” from one District Governor to another. This Banner is then displayed at all clubs’ meetings to represent the current governor when he or she can not be at a meeting due to his responsibilities.
